Just like "The Gothic Embrace", this is a remake of the song that appeared on "The Closed Eyes of Paradise". It can also be found on "The Burning Halo" and is another wonderful Gothic metal song; one of Draconian's few epic titles.
This is a remake of the first version of Draconians great Gothic piece from their Demo "The Closed Eyes Of Paradise"; this version can be found on "The Burning Halo" EP. This is a very beautiful song!
This grand Gothic/Doom-Metal song is too long for Youtube so I had to split it up, but do not forget to listen to the majestic final part!! Enjoy the cry of silence...
Majestic Doom Metal from Sweden; actually I put together a real video for this song but it was lost when my computer crashed. Since it is all about the gloomy and wonderfully dark song itself that doesn't matter. Enjoy!
For all you Proggies out there: This is the finale of the first act of Ayreon's space opera "Into The Electric Castle", which is highly recommended for all fans of Progressive Rock!
This is a song from the Doom-Metal-oriented album "Arcane Rain Fell". Do not expect female vocals or abundant orchestration here - you won't get them! This is a guitar-driven Gothic/Doom piece with nonetheless excruciatingly sad melodies!
This is by far the catchiest song from Xandrias new Album "Salomé - The Seventh Veil", but this is not to say it is the best!!
However, a very good song!
(Sorry, the last few seconds are missing...)
Very fitting to the autumn and winter outside, leaves are falling, everything is turning silent and grey... listen to this song and feel some winter depression...
A wonderful and depressing piece of Gothic music from their debut album "Lake Of Sorrow", full of angelic strings and the beautiful vioce of Anita Auglend.
Actually this is two songs (Canterville Prophecy/Canterville Ghost) put into one. Enjoy Symphnic Metal with the truly angelic and warm voice of Sabine Edelsbacher. This song is from the album "Shine" (and re-released on the EP "Chronicles of Eden").
A calm little piece of Symphonic Metal by the Swiss band Lunatica, in the version with Oliver Hartmann. I used some maritime pictures for the song to fit the mood. The song is from the labum "The Edge Of Infinity".
After a long pause i will post another video; this time it is from the American Symphonic Metal band Aesma Daeva. It is rather sophisticated, wonderfully ambient music. Enjoy!
By the way, this is not the version with Melissa Ferlaak, but with Lori Lewis singing.
I just heard about this russian band some days ago. This is a nice, poppy song from their album "Stop My Heart"; it appeared on their debut "Without You" as well, but with English lyrics (title "The Game"). However, I liked the russian version more.
Okay, this is a piece of German Electroclash by Faderhead, from the highly recommended album "FH2" (which also contains the great Dirtygrrrls/Dirtyboi s). I am looking forward to my next dark scene party ;-)
Darkwave and Electro by German music act [:SITD:], which is short for "Shadows In The Dark". The song is from their third album "Bestie Mensch"; this is a really great piece for the disco!
I could not find the original version of this song on Youtube, so I decided to post this Underground Club hit. I fell in love with the dark tone of this song :-)
