My brother Corey recently received his Light Sport Aircraft license and gave me a ride in an Ercoupe for my birthday. We visited my cousin Bob's tree farm...from the air!
On November 15, 2007 the Bellydance Superstars came to Iowa. We arranged two workshops - "The Art of the Drum Solo" with Issam Houshan and Sonia, and a "Master Drum Workshop" with Issam. We also traveled to the spot where it all began back in 2003...Hairy Mary's bar near Drake University. It was a great time, and I can't wait till they return!

On the night of April 23rd I filmed the Moon from my backyard through an 8-inch telescope. The shadows were fantastic! The atmosphere was a little bumpy, caused by heat waves from the Earth, but the views were still awesome! The coyote call in the beginning is from iTunes, but the owl was actually on the video track!
